Psychedelic Practitioner
Foundations Programme
Coming May 27th | Pre-enrol now! 

This course is the first of Clerkenwell Health's two-part Training Programme series, designed to offer foundational knowledge on psychedelic-assisted therapy. 

Timing & Format

The Foundations Programme comprises 30 hours of self-directed learning and 6 hours of group discussion. Participants can expect to complete this course over an average of two months.

Entry Criteria

All healthcare professionals are eligible, including university students studying towards a healthcare degree. 

Description

This course will provide comprehensive knowledge for those who wish to work professionally with psychedelic and related compounds. 

It will provide healthcare professionals with a thorough background in the history, current state of the evidence, treatment modalities, putative mechanisms of action, and future of psychedelic therapies.

The foundational module is designed to transcend cultural, racial, gender, socioeconomic, linguistic, and other barriers, ensuring adaptability across various settings without compromising underlying principles.

Psychedelic Practitioner
Certificate Programme

This course is a continuation of the Psychedelic Practitioner Foundations Programme, including practical training and  in-person components. 

Timing & Format

The training includes a combination of self-directed learning and live lectures and group workshops (approximately 100 hours) as well as in-person intensives and group mentoring. This course will run over the course of a year.

Entry Criteria

The applicant is a qualified therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or medical doctor with training in psychological therapies.

The applicant shows a minimum standard of competency in mock interview assessed using the Facilitative Interpersonal Skills (FIS) framework.

Description

This course is dedicated to those interested in developing the as psychedelic-assisted therapists, beyond foundational knowledge. 

Participants will receive practical training and mentoring in the delivery of psychedelic-assisted therapy and gain the required knowledge and clinical skills to deliver psychedelic-assisted therapy in a variety of settings.

Unlike other courses, we assesses clinical competence as well as theoretical knowledge. Candidates who complete the course will be assessed in an examination, which includes an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). 

Upon successful completion, participants are well placed to apply to be a therapist on a psychedelic research trial.
